Google Cloud Neural Networks has created non-fungible token artwork using its artificial intelligence algorithms. All 10,000 Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs were re-created by the AI software as abstract works of machine-generated art.
Google AI transforms BAYC NFTs into works of art
These Google AI-generated summaries take the appearance of apes like the popular BAYC collection by Yuga Labs. The Artsy Monke mission was created using advanced AI and image dispersion techniques. The images were generated using Colab, a Google-developed collaborative Pocket Book tool.
Google’s AI is capable of recreating NFTs using textual descriptions and not only reference images. The BAYC NFTs have been fed into the AI in “a free canvas inside which to border the generative artwork.”
The AI artist who worked on this project, CryptoGrims, commended the endeavor, stating that it was the right combination of art and technology. CryptoGrims is also renowned for teaching the AI to paint after providing it with a blank canvas. In order to achieve the desired outcome, twenty art styles have been selected and executed on separate servers over weeks.
The AI-generated images resemble the BAYC images. Some of the Artsy Monke photographs have tiny universes painted in the vague definition of the ape, while others are simple ape-shaped collages with futuristic characteristics.
Artsy Monke assortment sells out
Opensea listed the Artsy Monke NFT assortment. In contrast to the high price of the original BAYC items, this collection was posted for sale for 0.0001 ETH, equivalent to $1.40. The collection was quickly sold out on OpenSea shortly after listing.
The designers said that the NFT might serve as a utility token for holders by allowing them to participate in Artsy Monke games where they may earn real money. Dan Hovey, the blockchain developer behind the project, noted that holders with more Monke NFTs can play more games and earn more money.
The launch of this BAYC NFT occurs as the original BAYC NFTY continues to attract significant interest despite the bear market in the broader crypto market. The BAYC assortment provides holders with a great deal of functionality. In July, BAYC property owners registered their NFTs for usage by other manufacturers. Ape NFTs can be leased by manufacturers for promotional purposes.
